How We Help

At Carmichael Outreach, we advocate on behalf of and provide services to people who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of experiencing homelessness.

We believe in fostering empowerment through dignity, respect and advocacy, as well as engaging the community in our work to end poverty and homelessness.

TEMPORARY UPDATE ON DONATIONS

Please be advised that we are temporarily unable to accept most donations, as we have become flooded with too many donations to manage (thanks to the amazing generosity of the community). With that being said, there are still certain things that we are desperately in need of.

The donations that we are currently able to accept include:

  • Winter jackets, boots, and ski pants
  • Household goods (e.g., pots and pans, dishes, small appliances, etc.)
  • Food
  • Gift cards
  • Monetary donations

We ask that everyone please REFRAIN from donating clothing, toys, etc., until further notice. We are expecting to be settled in our new building by the beginning of December, at which time we will be able to accept donations as we normally have.
